Whatโs included in this update?
With Reckon Payroll, users had different workflows for finalising a pay run and lodging SuperStream batches to distribute employee superannuation guarantee (SG) contributions. With this update, users can now process payroll and reduce the time required to make super payments.
By generating SuperStream batches straight from the pay run, users decrease payroll admin time, while giving a quality of life update for the upcoming Payday Super changes coming on 1 July 2026.
Update Benefits
With Reckon Oneโs SuperStream Batch update, users will benefit from:
Staying compliant with Payday Super
Users will be supported for the upcoming Payday Super changes, as pay runs and superannuation lodgements become โconnectedโ, as the creation, lodgement, or download of SuperStream batches workflow will initiate directly after a pay run. This will make paying employees super, simpler and faster.
Reduce tedious payroll and superannuation tasks
At the end of a pay run, users will experience a new workflow that directs them straight to creating a SuperStream batch. This update reduces the need to switch between the pay run and SuperStream screens and supports both Beam-enabled and non-Beam users with tailored options.
Better flexibility, error reduction, and transparency in your payroll software
Users will have new processes that align with familiar actions, like creating an ABA file. These changes provide greater transparency by linking batches to the original pay run, while also offering flexibility for reviewing, adjusting, and completing actions via the Superstream screen โ including audit trails.
Whatโs next?
With Reckon Payrollโs new SuperStream workflow update, users can make sure that their payroll system isnโt bogged down with extra clicks and tedious screen switching โ just in time for Payday Super. By using Reckon accounting and payroll software, Reckon customers have the tools they need to understand their finances. Stay tuned for upcoming developments in payroll.
