What is employee self-service payroll?
Payroll Plus gives employees access to self-service features through Reckon Mate. Employees can submit their own timesheets and expense claims from their phone, as well as access the Reckon Mate features available across Reckon One payroll plans.
Can employees submit timesheets and expense claims from their phone?
Yes. With Payroll Plus, employees can use the Reckon Mate app to submit their timesheets and expense claims from their phone.
Their submitted information can then be managed through Reckon One, helping reduce manual payroll administration.
Does Payroll Plus handle casual staff and variable hours?
Payroll Plus can be used for casual and part-time employees, including employees whose hours vary between pay periods.
Employees can submit timesheets through Reckon Mate, while pay templates can make recurring pay runs quicker to prepare. You can also manage employee leave information in Reckon One.
Reckon One does not interpret awards or automatically determine which award rate or casual loading applies to an employee. Employers remain responsible for entering the appropriate rates and entitlements.
What does free data migration include?
Eligible paid Payroll Plus subscriptions include free data migration of one year of payroll history plus year-to-date data.
After submitting your migration request and required information, migrations are generally completed within 3 to 5 business days. You’ll then be able to review the migrated information before continuing your payroll in Reckon.
What happens if I go over 10 employees?
Payroll Plus supports up to 10 employees. If your team grows beyond 10 employees, you can move to Payroll Premium, which includes the same feature set with support for unlimited employees.
Do I need an accounting plan to use Payroll Plus?
No. You can use Payroll Plus without a Reckon One accounting plan, making it a great option if you only need payroll for your business.
