Reckon’s relationship Intuit Inc, USA, ends. QuickBooks® brand officially can no longer be used by Reckon. #EndOfEra

Automated data entry software for accountants hits the market with Reckon SyncDirect.

Decision to give up QuickBooks® and Quicken® names is made. Massive re-branding effort launches!

Reckon buys Lindenhouse and Virtual Cabinet online document management. Explosive growth in numbers ever since!

2009

QuickBooks® Hosted (now called Reckon Accounts Hosted) launched. Still the most comprehensive software in the market for larger businesses.

A big year for Reckon. Adds Reckon Docs, which now registers 1 in 7 new businesses in Australia. Adds Reckon Billback, now used by some of the world’s biggest law firms.

2007

Reckon buys Shelco, starts helping businesses with new company registrations.

Reckon buys small practice management and tax solution Elite. Now used by the likes of H&R Block.

Reckon adds to its lineup by buying Desktop Super.

2004

Reckon QuickBooks® named Best Small Business Accounting package by PC User’s Top 100 products review.

2004

Reckon buys leading accountancy practice management software APS. Now used by 70% of the countries top accounting practices, and three of the Big Four accountancy firms.

2002

Strategic partnership with Microsoft announced with integration between Reckon QuickBooks® and Microsoft Office.

Reckon QuickBooks® is Editor’s choice in PC magazine.

New Millenium! (Y2K averted 🙂 )

Kaching! Reckon lists on the Australian Stock Exchange at a 167% premium above the issue price on 19 July.

Reckon expands across the ditch into New Zealand and further afield to Singapore.

Reckon QuickBooks® for business software unleashed into the Australian market.

Hooray! History is made as Reckon Quicken® personal finance software is released in Australia.

Reckon founded by Greg Wilkinson with a maxed out credit card and loan against an old Holden Commodore. #SmallBusiness
