Recruitment with a Salvation Army twist
To challenge the necessity of traditional recruitment services, whilst contributing to a charitable cause, Reckon looked to The Salvation Army & Employment Plus.
Reckon recently began working closely with Employment Plus to not only place and prosper the best people in the industry, but also to support a worthy cause by looking beyond the established recruitment market toward a more fair and open process.
Employment Plus are one of Australia’s largest government funded employment services as well as one of the most innovative and selfless. They specialise in locating quality employees for any business – without charge.
As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus they derive is funnelled back into The Salvation Army’s social programs – providing relief to the homeless, the underprivileged, victims of disaster and many other well-known endeavours that make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
Employment Plus provides job seekers with access to specialised training, work experience and a range of support services. They work closely with businesses across all sectors, including Reckon, to find the right people to suit their needs.
Since 1998, the iconic organisation has worked with over 200,000 businesses across Australia and seen well over half a million Australians successfully placed in employment. That’s astounding.
Reckon are extremely proud to be a part of their mission and will continue to support this program aimed at the betterment of Australian society through creating accessible job networks, which in turn fuel wider charitable endeavours. That’s a win-win.
