AccountantsDaily, in conjunction with principal partner Reckon have announced the finalists for the prestigious 2015 Australian Accounting Awards. A total of 103 finalists, including Australia’s leading accounting and bookkeeping professionals and firms were shortlisted across 21 categories.
The Australian Accounting Awards are a national awards program which showcases excellence right across the accounting and bookkeeping profession. The winners will be announced at a five-star gala dinner to be held in Sydney on Friday 30 October at the Westin hotel.

“Reckon congratulates all accounting and bookkeeping finalists for the 2015 awards and recognises their outstanding contribution to the industry,” said Sam Allert, Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. “We look forward to joining the finalists at the upcoming awards gala dinner to further celebrate their achievements.”

AccountantsDaily publisher Alex Whitlock also commended the finalists. “Congratulations to these leading professionals and practices. Since nominations opened in August we’ve received a record number of submissions and so it’s an outstanding achievement to make it through to this stage.”

Mr Whitlock said “the high calibre of this year’s finalists bears testament to the depth of talent in the Australian accounting industry. Picking the winners from such a strong field will be a tough job for our judging panel and I’m sure that there will be huge excitement when the awards are presented on the night.”
