This week we’ve updated QuickBooks Hosted and given the program a new name – Reckon Accounts Hosted. The new name for the hosted product matches the similar renaming of the desktop QuickBooks products earlier this month. Apart from enhancements and compliance changes, Reckon Accounts Hosted is the same product with a new name.

What can you expect from the update?

Most notably, the latest update includes changes to help businesses meet their compliance obligations. In particular the changes have been made to assist users managing new requirements for Employment Termination Payments (ETP) and new reporting requirements for the Building and Construction industry. Links to helpful articles on each of these are below.

What will users see when they log in today?

From now, you’ll see an additional icon when you login to your Hosted account. The icon on the left will be for the latest update:

Information to help users decide when to use the latest version, and steps to take, has been published on the login page.

Using POS Hosted and Reckon Accounts Hosted?

If you use both of these programs your should continue using the QuickBooks 2012/13 version until POS Hosted is updated later in the month. This will ensure both programs are compatible.

New look login page

We’ve also updated the login page! When logging in you’ll also notice we’ve updated the look and feel of the login page to make it simpler for users. Read about the updated login page >
